The 2024 Tacoma comes with two powertrain options; the standard i-FORCE turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine and the new I-Force hybrid powertrain that combines the 2.4-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine with an electric motor.

2024 Toyota Tacoma Trims

Toyota offers the Tacoma in eight different trim levels: SR, SR5, TRD PreRunner, TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, Limited, TRD Pro and Trailhunter.

SR
This is the base Tacoma grade that offers; 17-inch steel wheels, Leaf-spring rear suspension, LED headlights, Composite cargo bed construction, Class IV trailer-hitch receiver with seven-pin wiring connector, Keyless entry and push-button start, 8-inch touchscreen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 which includes: Forward collision warning with automatic braking, Adaptive cruise control, Lane departure mitigation and Lane centering system.

SR5
This grade comes with a 278-hp engine, 17-inch alloy wheels, Bed rails with movable tie-down cleats, Coil-spring rear suspension, Keyless entry on all doors and Blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic warning.

TRD PreRunner

This grade comes with Lifted front suspension, 17-inch dark gray alloy wheels, Underbody fuel tank protection, Locking rear differential , Digital instrument panel, Leather-trimmed steering wheel and Automatic climate control.

TRD Sport

This trim Forgoes the PreRunner's off-road equipment in favor of 18-inch wheels, Coil-spring rear suspension, TRD-tuned suspension dampers for sportier handling, LED bed lighting and Six-speaker audio system

TRD Off-Road
This grade is designed for off-road trails and comes with Standard four-wheel drive, 17-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, Bilstein remote-reservoir suspension dampers, Skidplates for the engine, transfer case and fuel tank

Limited
This is the top grade that comes with 18-inch chrome wheels, Sunroof, Power running boards, Power tailgate, Bed storage box, Wireless trailer camera that displays what's behind the trailer in the rearview mirror, Trailer backup guide, Integrated trailer brake controller and Household-style power outlets.
The Limited also comes with Synthetic leather seating, Power-adjustable front seats, Heated and ventilated front seats, Leather-trimmed heated steering wheel, Dual-zone automatic climate control, Front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking, 14-inch touchscreen, 10-speaker JBL sound system with removable Bluetooth center speaker, 360-degree camera system and Wireless phone charging

Interior

The 2024 Tacoma compliments its capabilities with comfort and premium tech. It now features a new interior with improved front seats, six or eight way adjustment and heating and ventilation functionality on select trims.

The Tacoma offers seating for up to five passengers across two rows of seats, configured as either a Double Cab or Extended Cab (Xtra Cab). The front seats are spacious and comfortable for both the driver and the front passenger. The second row seats are also spacious with sizable headroom and legroom making it ideal for long drives.

The 2024 Tacoma maintains its Baja racing heritage that embodies spirit of outdoor adventure while staying true to its iconic design. Its streamlined body and a powerful athletic stance make the 2024 Tacoma always look ready to hit the trail. The front end boasts LED headlights featuring dynamic sequential turn signals and Daytime Running Lights (DRL) which are uniquely styled to stand out higher grades get Premium LED headlights that further enhance the 2024 Tacoma's design. There is also an LED light bar, a high clearance front bumper, rigid fog lights which illuminate the trail in low light and inclement weather.

These attractive looks are backed by functionality, thanks to skid plates that protect the underbody, as well as other useful features like an available deck rail system, an available 2400-watt AC power supply on i-FORCE MAX EV models, and an available power up/down tailgate.

The Trail Hunter trim takes design to new heights with additions like an ARB Sport Bar, and a low-profile, high-mount air intake.

2024 Toyota Tacoma Cargo Capacity

The 2024 Tacoma comes with two-bed options, either a five or six-foot bed. Toyota claims a maximum payload capacity of 1,710 pounds for the i-FORCE Max Models. In terms of towing capacity, the standard i-Force engine has an ability of up to 6,500 pounds while the i-Force max hybrid engine drops to a maximum of 6,000 pounds.
