Hubby and I just had a coffee break and now, I'm thinking about what to cook for supper, lol. Anyhow, I would like to share some photos that I took last month. It was one of the biggest mask festivals in Europe called Surva or kukeri. During Surva, participants wear elaborate costumes and masks, (scary masks, like mythical creatures, animals, or folkloric characters. They parade through the streets, singing traditional songs, dancing, performing rituals to ward off evil spirits and wish everyone lots of blessings in the upcoming year.

Nakakatakot sya sa umpisa lang, pero nakaka touch ang ganitong pagmamahal nila sa kanilang tradisyon.
