My heart is heavy 💔😭

It suppose to be my rest day today but suddenly my partner in work is sick she didn't inform me in time i was knew when one of my colleage inform me if i can go to work i refuse at first because my partner dont inform me yet. My colleage chatting me that if i want to have consideration about the situation i dont have to say anything and go to work immediately .. I have a lot to say that how about my feeling? How about me who doesn't knew the situation at first? If i failed to go to work its my fault?it is my conscience?..
