How to get rid of depression, continued.

Yesterday, I wrote a message about how I freed myself from depression years ago and shared the initial steps we need to take, which I learned from studying emotional intelligence and quantum physics. It would be good if you read it.

The first step is to clear your mind and your mouth. Yes, stop speaking bad of things that happen in your life, stop cursing, stop complaining. Instead, you will start blessing and being grateful. Take a notebook and write down 10 things you are grateful for. Do this every day. Read it aloud if you can. Think about it, you are alive, and that alone is a reason to be thankful.

Take care of your words and also your thoughts. Avoid everything negative. Movies, music, news, people... all of these will bring you down. It will influence your day and your emotions.

In yesterday's post, I talked about the rice experiment, which proves that words have power. The Bible also mentions this. I completely believe that words are a blessing and a curse. They can give life but they can also kill. So, take care of the words you speak.

Throughout the day, make declarations of blessings. I know it won't be easy because everything seems bad to you and you see no reason to live the life you lead. But, hold on, with time you will notice an improvement in your mood. You need to practice.

To help you, here are the daily tasks you will do:

- In front of a mirror, you will praise yourself, no matter how you feel. Say words like: I am blessed, I am prosperous, everything I want I can achieve, I am intelligent and powerful... use your creativity. Declare only good things.

- Take a notebook and write down 10 things you are grateful for. You will read it aloud, it can be before going to sleep.

- Throughout the day, remember to make declarations of blessings. Bless your home, your family, your school, people, etc.

- There is a declaration known in quantum physics that I apply like this: I am of the I am (God), I am happy, I am prosperous, I am healthy... I do this while showering, blessing my body and my organs. You can do it anytime.

Other tasks you should do:

- Stay away from everything negative, including people. Toxic people can cause us depression. Living in this environment is extremely harmful. So distance yourself from these people and if you can't, learn to say no. Assert yourself. This is extremely important. Think about yourself.

- Acquire a hobby. Do something that brings you pleasure.

- Dream, but if your dreams don't come true as you want, understand that things won't always happen as we want them to, but God in His infinite goodness will give us deliverance and we will only understand the closed doors in the future when we look back. So be patient, everything is happening according to God's plan.

- Acceptance. Acceptance is very important. Accept your life as it is. If you don't accept it, the suffering will be greater and you will be ungrateful and complaining. Acceptance means understanding that you cannot change the situation at the moment. This does not mean that you won't be able to change it later on. You just need to exercise patience. Acceptance will help you with that. Don't complain. Wait.

I have experienced many situations throughout my life and years later I was able to learn many lessons from them. Looking back made me understand God's purpose for me, to accept why things didn't happen as I wanted. Many times I received deliverance and stubbornly wanted things my way. God made us with a purpose and placed us in the right place. That's where you are meant to learn and discover what your mission is. Don't despair. There is healing for depression and it starts within you.
